When can I expect to receive my shipment?
Orders placed before 12:00 noon Monday-Friday > we normally pack and send your item(s) on the same day.
Orders placed after 12:00 noon or on a Saturday/ Sunday > we normally pack and send your order the following working day (providing it isn't a bank holiday).
The above applies to both orders placed via checkout, and via the recurring system on our subscription service. The latter will auto-charge during the early hours of the morning of your selected date (also referred to as the 'Next shipment' in your settings, or 'Your next order is scheduled for...' in email).
For Subscribers, this is how your next order date for a particular product will appear in the 'Subscriptions' area
Tip! Your next order placement date will appear in the Subscription Schedule too! |
Depending on your location, you can usually expect delivery to be attempted to you on the next working day for the majority of England, Wales and Scotland (excluding Scottish Highlands, offshore isles and some 'harder to reach' postcodes). Unfortunately, we do not and cannot guarantee next-day delivery as occasional unforeseen delays in transit may result in your order arriving 1-2 days later. For harder to reach areas, you should expect delivery between 2-5 working days (not including weekends or bank holidays). For more details, see our Delivery webpage: click here
When does processing occur?
Our website will accept order placement at any time, day or night, however our normal 'working days' for operation are Monday - Friday where our hard working warehouse team will pack and send your order (excludes bank holidays and other public holidays).
Our delivery partners (DHL Parcel UK and DPD UK) also operate Monday - Friday for us, whilst bank holidays and other public holidays are excluded. It is possible for exceptions to this, so please check your tracking data online.
Weekends & Bank / Public Holidays
We don't send parcels on weekends, bank holidays or other public holidays and will send those orders on the next working day (Mon-Fri).
What happens once my order leaves Harringtons HQ?
When your parcel has been collected, you will receive an email from our delivery partner to let you know when to expect your delivery. If this day isn't convenient for you, there will be options to reschedule, deliver to a neighbour or a safe place (see 'What if I'm not in when my parcel arrives?' for more information.)
While some delivery partners may opt to deliver during Saturday or Sunday (especially at busy retail periods throughout the year), we cannot guarantee this and do not offer it as a service to choose from, at this time.
In some circumstances, there could be a transit delay and we are unable to guarantee next business day delivery especially during times of unprecedented demand, unavoidable transport issues (bad weather, major road closures etc.) or immediately following a bank holiday when a backlog of orders may be in existence.
When can I track my parcel(s)?
Your parcel will become fully trackable after it has been collected from Harringtons by the delivery partner, usually between 3-5 pm (Mon-Fri). To track it, please see: How do I track my order delivery?
I've received some products, but not others - where are they?
It's possible that our team has shipped multiple parcels to you so they could be arriving separately. To check this, please see: My order arrived and products are missing
