I want free subscription delivery
Full details regarding our free delivery offer, standard delivery charges and how these apply are found at the Delivery Information page at our website.
We currently offer FREE standard delivery on subscription orders where:
- spend is £30 or more, per transaction
- delivery address is UK Mainland (postcode exceptions are listed at the Delivery Information page)
To benefit, subscription products must be set to the same 'Next shipment' date and shipping address.
The same 'Next shipment' date per product means those items will be charged at the same time and expected to ship together, to arrive in the days to follow (stock availability, payment authorisation and carrier service dependant).
Combine subscription items to a single shipment
For products being ordered on the same 'Next shipment' date, the total transaction spend must meet our current free delivery offer. Check that each of your product settings meet the criteria for free subscriber delivery:
- Next shipment/ charge date is the same
- Frequency is the same
- Sub-total meets minimum spend (consider offer discounts or vouchers)
- Shipping Address is an exact match
If the shipping address is different per item, these are considered to be separate subscription arrangements which can incur their own shipping fees when left unchanged.
It can be possible to create the same address twice, either by adding the same address in your settings or creating a new order via checkout. To fix this, see: I’d like to change my delivery address
Please see example below, showing two arrangements separated by two addresses:
** If you notice more than one address above your active products in the Subscription list, even if it appears to be the same location or with small differences in format, you will need to move your subscription products to one address before the next shipment due date. It's pretty quick to do - see here for how to: I’d like to change my delivery address
Having trouble, and need this change urgently?
Please contact our team straight away if you're unable to make the necessary changes to your account. Use our Answerbot/LiveChat assistant at the bottom corner of our site. Answer a few questions that our team will need to know, and you can choose to be put through to a live chat (availability is displayed at the top of the window).
Adding new items to your existing subscription
Once you sign-up for your first subscription, in order to add additional items and combine these into the same delivery, the additional items will need to be added using the Harringtons Subscription Portal using the 'Add product' feature (instead of registering for a new subscription through the website checkout - click here for help).
Please see: How do I amend, add, remove or swap an item on my subscription settings?
Get free subscriber delivery with different schedules
Each product that you add to the Harringtons Subscription Portal can have a different settings including but not limited to: delivery frequency (i.e. how often orders recur for the item) and date (the day an order is placed and charged). Therefore it is possible to set individual products to their own schedules. To benefit from free delivery whilst still having different schedules, you could increase the quantity of product you'll order (per transaction) and lessen the frequency with which you order them so that you are ordering at least £30 worth each time.
Please note, free standard delivery is not available for some areas deemed 'harder to reach' and a charge may apply - full details of our delivery charges can be found on our delivery information page.
Have more than one address listed with your subscriptions?
If you choose to add new subscriptions products by the website checkout process (instead of adding them in the subscription portal, using the 'add product' button), this will cause the items to be treated as separate arrangements and you will not benefit from free delivery where the transaction does not meet our free delivery minimum spend.
Don't worry - if you have done this by mistake and would like to merge items into a single delivery, please see our guide >> I’d like to change my delivery address.
