Q: What age is best to transition my puppy to the equivalent adult option?
Answer:
General advice is to begin to make the change once your puppy is around three-quarters expected adult size and many people choose to do so at some point between 9 and 18 months. The point at when you change the diet is a personal choice.
The main difference between our puppy and adult varieties is higher levels of protein in the puppy recipes to assist with the high growth rate, associated with that life stage. Our adult varieties are suitable to feed from the age of 8 weeks, although when feeding an adult variety to a growing puppy we do advise that you feed according to your puppy's appetite. This ensures they grow at the correct rate and consume enough nutrients to support this.
