A Harringtons subscription gives you complete flexibility to change your scheduled subscription deliveries whether you need more or less food, or you would like to try another flavour.
You don't need to contact us to do this - you can change your subscription up to 24 hours prior to your chosen charge date using the Harringtons Subscription Portal and following the steps below.
Please note: these changes affect your upcoming schedule of orders that have not yet been charged (see 'Subscription Schedule' on your account. Changes must be completed at least 24 hours before your upcoming order placement date. You will be sent reminders by email, before your next subscription order is placed - please check your Junk/ Spam email folders regularly and add our email to your safe senders list to avoid missing these important updates!

Step 1 - Login to the Harringtons Subscription Portal
You will first need to login to the Harringtons Subscription Portal using the details you used when you registered.
If you're not sure what your login details are, you can enter your email address here to request a link.
Step 2 - Using the 'Edit' feature
Once you have logged in, you will see a list of your active subscription products and the 'next shipment' indicator (the date your upcoming product will be ordered and charged). If this date is missing or blank, please check your email inbox and spam folder for notification from our team.
Click the 'EDIT' button next to the item you wish to change. You will be shown the current settings for that item alone, and have the option to make changes to it individually of other products you subscribe to. If you want to add a brand new product, then see adding an item.

changing the quantity
Select the product box which appears below the next charge date and delivery schedule. Using the plus and minus buttons, you can increase or decrease the quantity. Select UPDATE to confirm that change and you will be taken back to your subscription card, showing the quantity you chose. The minimum quantity per item can be '1' so to remove a product completely, jump to the 'removing an item' guidance below by clicking here.

swapping an item
If you want to swap an existing item in your subscription, for example you want to try another flavour or a bigger quantity then follow the same steps as above, but select SWAP PRODUCT. You will be prompted to pick a new item in the next step. You can type a keyword in the search bar at the top or browse through pages on the bottom. When you select the product you want, adjust the quantity and ensure your delivery frequency is correct - then click SWAP PRODUCT.
Important note: the charge date for your new item may automatically update to match the next soonest order within your subscription schedule. If you need to change this, please follow instructions outlined here: How do I change the date of my upcoming subscription order?

adding an item
To increase the amount of a product you already subscribe to, click here for guidance. If you wish to add a brand new product to your subscription then visit the SUBSCRIPTION section from the menu in green, then select ADD PRODUCT.
A listed menu will show on screen, allowing you to use keywords to search for your preferred product.
TIP: Keep your search brief and concise - such as 'Adult Salmon 4kg' for instance. Alternatively, if you have the full product name available from our website, you can paste it in to the field and search.
Once you've selected a product you will have the opportunity to adjust the quantity, frequency schedule and your preferred ordering date - the latter can be changed by choosing 'Custom charge date'. In the event you want your new item to be ordered at a different time to your existing product(s), this option can be useful:
Important note: the term 'first shipment date / next shipment date' is reflective of when your order will be attempted (subject to payment and stock availability). The delivery date of your order will depend on when despatch occurs and how long it takes for our courier partners to reach you. removing an item
To deactivate an recurring product from your subscription, the 'cancel item' feature needs to be selected before the next charge date is due. The term "subscription" identifies each individual product item on your account. To cancel your entire list of subscription products, it is necessary to cancel each in turn. There is no bulk feature to do this in one go, currently.
In your subscriptions list, select EDIT next to the item you want to remove. Scroll down the page and select CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION or CANCEL ITEM. You will be asked to provide a reason for your choice, so please choose the best match from the list. Select PROCEED where you will have the opportunity to leave a brief comment (if you wish), and choose CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION to finalise your choice. You will receive a confirmation email after this is completed, showing which item has been cancelled.

modifying 'one-time' products
These items are generally purchased as a single 'add-on' to your subscription, that does not recur again. Normally these can be added at the checkout or via your account settings. They will not appear in your main dashboard or product subscription list because they are not repeat subscription products. To review and manage these item settings use the 'Subscription Schedule' area where they will be displayed. Select 'manage one-time' button to do so:

We recommend to adjust the frequency and charge date of each item, then check the sequence of orders in your 'Subscription Schedule' area to confirm the settings suit your needs.
- A change of date must be completed at least 24 hours before the current date selected. There is no option to bulk update multiple products at one time. You can change the date of orders showing in your subscription schedule only, and not ones which have already been charged; which are confirmed by email and displayed in your account orders history list. Find these on the My Account page after you login. If you are trying to change product/s which have already been charged, please see: Can I cancel my order?
- It is not possible to prompt a same day order request (charged and dispatched) by selecting the current day. Doing so will automatically delay the product until the next calendar day.

Future orders (including add-ons like 'one-time products') can be viewed in the 'Subscription Schedule' area. If the timings don't look right then view the 'Subscription' section and choose edit next to the item you wish to change. You may receive periodic emails to confirm the updates as you make them.
- If you have multiple subscription items set to the same date, and would like to move them all to the same future date, each must be edited individually. There is no option to bulk change multiple items in one click - however our team would be happy to help if you have any trouble! Alternatively you can complete our email submission form, which will allow our team to get back to you later. Changes requested in this way will not receive immediate action in most circumstances, so please allow at least five working days ahead of your due date.
