'Leave Safe' Service
We understand that customers might not always be in when a delivery arrives, which is why we work with delivery partners who offer flexible options for either leaving a parcel in a safe place, with a preferred neighbour or re-arranging delivery at a more convenient time.
Your Harringtons order will be sent to you via one of our delivery partners, DPD or DHL Parcel UK. When your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email from us notifying you who your parcel is being delivered by.
DPD
Once your parcel has been collected by DPD, you will receive an email from them notifying you of the delivery date. If this day isn't convenient, you can reschedule to another day or request that the parcel is delivered to a safe place, a neighbour or a local DPD Pickup Shop.
On the morning of the delivery, you will receive a one-hour delivery window so you won't need to wait in all day.
You can specify a preferred neighbour, or alternatively a safe place at your property to leave the parcel, by entering your reference number (from your email notification) and postcode at https://track.dpd.co.uk/
DPD also has a mobile app that you can use to track parcels and set delivery preferences.

Once you have installed the app, open it and follow these instructions to set your preferences:
- Tap on the 'cogwheel' icon (top-left) to access your profile
- Select an address from the 'delivery addresses' section
- Fill out the details requested on-screen
- (scroll down to reveal more preferences, such as preferred neighbour)
- Tap 'save' when you're happy with the details you've entered
DHL Parcel UK
Once your parcel has been collected by DHL, you will receive an email from them notifying you of the delivery date. If this day isn't convenient, you can click the 'Rearrange a delivery' button to reschedule to another day or request that the parcel is delivered to a safe place, neighbour or a local DHL Parcel UK ServicePoint.
On the morning of the delivery, you will receive a one-hour delivery window so you won't need to wait in all day. In this email, there is also a link to request a notification when the driver is one stop away.
If you are not in when your parcel arrives, it can be left in a safe location at your address and a photo will be taken to show you where it has been left. To see where your parcel has been left, enter your shipment number (from your email notification) and postcode at https://track.dhlparcel.co.uk/ (note: you will not be shown a photo unless you enter your postcode).
